The Magnitude of a Man: Southern California Mourns the Loss of Centrepoint Christian Fellowship Pastor Cedric “Ced” Reynolds

Pomona, CA– Cedric “Ced” Reynolds, 58, Senior Pastor of CentrePoint Christian Fellowship of Chino of 23 years, passed away suddenly late Sunday evening. Pastor Reynolds was a renown pastor, entrepreneur, and innovative leader known for his mentorship, love of God and people.

Affectionately known as “Pastor Ced,” the beloved Pastor grew up in Compton, CA and attended Compton High School.  He went on to study Business Administration at the University of California at Riverside and Ministry and Leadership at Life Pacific College in San Dimas, California at which he most recently served as Chaplain.

Pastor Ced dedicated his life to uplifting others and leading others to Christ, primarily as a servant leader in the Four Square denomination. He served as a Board Member of the Four Square Foundation and served in that capacity for several years.

He founded SANA (Single And Not Ashamed) and led the organization, which has grown to thousands of single adults globally, with the mission to serve others for the Kingdom of God. Pastor Ced recently served alongside his wife Venita as the administrative pastor of her Reclaimed Queens In Blue Jeans ministry and supported the ministry in expanding and growing in new dimensions.

Pastor Ced was recognized as a finalist to be considered as the Amazing Men of Power Host of the Year for his radio program in 2014 (http://www.cedreynolds.ws/MyRadioShow.) He was also known widely for his daily “Ced Talks” on Facebook Live, with daily video posts designed to uplift and encourage people around the globe.

Pastor Ced had more accomplishments and distinctions than can be named but the true magnitude of this man was his undeniable integrity, love, and service to others.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife (Venita Reynolds), mother (Essie Reed), son (Cedric Reynolds), brother (Byron Reynolds), daughter-by-marriage (Kiana Burnham), CentePoint and broader Four Square family, and an extensive host of family and friends. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 14 at New Life Community Church in Pomona. Full arrangement details are available on the “Pastor Ced Memorial” Facebook Page.
