Upland, CA— There is only one more Sunday left in the month of March and the Women’s Fellowship of Victory Community Church (VCC) continues to host their Annual Women’s Celebration Series, in recognition and celebration of Women’s History “HerStory” Month. Along with the weekly celebration series, there are several other activities scheduled throughout the month of March.

VCC is so very pleased to announce that the following women of God will or have shared the gospel during the 9:30 a.m. worship services each week. March 3rd kicked off the Women’s Herstory Month with Word of Faith Christian Centers own, Pastor Donna George, Lady Bettye January brought forth a powerful word Sunday, March 10th, March 17th was none other than VCC’s First Lady Kimberly Morrow, and this past Sunday March 24th Minister Selena Austin Terrell brought a mighty word to the Victory Community Church. We are excited to close out Women’s History “HerStory” month with the dynamic woman of God, Minister Ta Mia Morrow.

Ta Mia Morrow is a highly gifted and celebrated woman of God who possesses an unyielding passion for helping people to discover who Jesus Christ is and to develop an authentic relationship with Him. She is known as one who delivers the Word of God with clarity, conviction, and without compromise. Her ability to connect with people intergenerationally and across cultural, socioeconomic, ethic, and denominational boundaries is a credit to her distinct style of ministry.

Ta Mia has been blessed with a number of opportunities to facilitate workshops at conferences catering to women and youth, as well as minister through preaching at local churches and organization sponsored events throughout Los Angeles and San Bernardino county. In 2016 Ta Mia launched “Tam Talks” a weekly inspirational vlog on social media that has attracted thousands of viewers from across the country and around the world. In 2017, she introduced the Vision Casting Mastermind Workshops, a series of training seminars designed to assist individuals with developing goals and objectives to live their lives according to God’s plans and purposes. Through this unique approach Ta Mia’s ministry has given those who are formally unchurched access to biblical truths and practical principles that has led to radical life change.

As an established professional educator, Ta Mia earned an undergraduate degree in Urban Education, and an Education Specialist Credential, Mild/Moderate and a Master of Arts degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction. With over ten years of experience working in charter schools across Los Angeles and San Bernardino County, Ta Mia has served in several capacities from classroom teacher to elementary school principal. Her passion and commitment to the students and communities she has served has yielded remarkable results and she considers it both an honor and a privilege to have had the opportunity to sow into the lives of those who will one day become agents of global change.

In her current role, Ta Mia serves as the General Manager of the Inland Valley Newspaper. She also serves as Executive Director of Inland Valley Scholars Program, a revolutionary program that provides highly skilled students from lower socioeconomic communities with scholarships, mentorship and leadership development training throughout their undergraduate career.

Minister Ta Mia Morrow serves faithfully at the Victory Community Church in Upland, California under the leadership of Senior Pastor Tommy Morrow, MA. She currently serves as the Teaching Pastor/Worship Leader and oversees the Joshua Generation ministry. As Teaching Pastor, Ta Mia works closely with the executive leadership team to develop programs and teaching supports to increase the spiritual aptitude of church leadership and the general Body. As worship leader she is responsible for cultivating the atmosphere for worship while leading the Body into the presence of God. Ta Mia also aids in the preaching ministry for the general Body and is always willing to support in any area where her gifts can be utilized.
