Dr. Homer, a distinguished expert in biomechanics, neuroscience, and movement analysis, brings an impressive track record of research, innovation and intellectual property that significantly bolsters the opportunities for both colleges.
Dr. Homer’s work with HX Innovations, a leading research and technology company specializing in body movement analytics, has garnered national attention for its contributions to injury prevention, performance optimization, and medical device innovation. His expertise will enable the University to integrate advanced technology into its biomechanics and movement analysis research and education initiatives, creating opportunities for faculty and students to develop groundbreaking intellectual property and enhance medical practices.
Through his involvement, Dr. Homer leads many of the CPM and CHS biomechanics and gait research activities to continue advancing bridges between health care and technology to enhance function, injury prevention, and ultimately quality of life.
