Positive Results Center Hosts 8th Annual FREE Prom Dress & Tux Gift-Away

Los Angeles, CA — Positive Results Center invites you to attend our 8th Annual Dress Prom Dress & Tuxedo Gift Away and Resource Fair is back on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Beehive, 1000 E. 60th Street, Los Angeles, CA 9. We welcome Young Ladies, Non- Binary and Masculine-centered Girls, and Trans-Girls to this FREE One-Day Event.

Over 100 volunteers will join the Positive Results Center to provide a delightful shopping experience with a large selection of beautiful gowns and women’s tuxedos, special occasion outfits, sizes 0-30, shoe sizes 4-14, plus accessories, handbags, makeup, personal hygiene and more! Everything is completely FREE, making their Prom a magical dream, and a once in a lifetime experience!

Our goal is to serve as many people as possible to make their Prom and graduation a Magical Dream”, states Kandee Lewis, Executive Director of The Positive Results Corporation. For many, the cost of a prom has become prohibitive. The dress, shoes, accessories, and ticket can end up costing well over $2500.

“If we can provide the family a little relief, their choice of a fabulous gown, and a great experience, we have done our job. The reward of seeing a smile on their face is all we want.

We are thankful to our Sponsors including the ABC7 News, Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, Dream View 360 Photo Booth, G Is On The Move, SoCalGas, Willdan, and Peaceful Periods.

Community-based organizations will be available on site providing free information at the Resouce Fair. vendor, which will be held on the premises. If you would like to be a vendor in our free resource fair please see the informational material along with flyers attached to this email.

We are accepting donations of new and cleaned, gently used Clothing, purses, shoes, jewelry, and accessories. We need more gowns, shoes, purses and hair!

Every girl dreams of her prom, however, for many, economic insecurities, homelessness, being a foster youth, a victim of violence, or some other life-changing concern due to no fault of their own has made the prospect of prom a distant reality”, states Kandee Lewis. “We have all been blessed, now we are sharing our blessings”.
