Minister Selena Terrell, Antioch Missionary Baptist Church
Ontario, CA — Victory Community Church will celebrate Women’s HerStory Month throughout March 2026 with five consecutive Sundays of dynamic preaching, reflection, and spiritual empowerment under the theme, “For a Time as Such as This.”
Grounded in John 9:4 — “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” — this year’s celebration calls women to boldly embrace their divine assignment and impact this generation with faith, courage, and purpose. In a time marked by uncertainty and rapid change, the church believes women are uniquely positioned to serve, lead, nurture, build, and transform communities with clarity and conviction.
All services will take place at 9:30 a.m. at the church’s temporary location, The Element Hotel, 900 Via Piemonte, Ontario, California, and will also stream live via Facebook at Facebook.com/VCCUpland, allowing the broader community to participate in this powerful month of worship and encouragement.
The month will open on Sunday, March 1, 2026, with a message from Min. Kim Anthony-Morrow, Co-Pastor of Victory Community Church and Publisher & CEO of Urban Business Journal. On March 8, Deaconess Regina Carey of Victory Community Church in Upland will bring the Word. March 15 will feature Veronica Williams, traveling from Glen Burnie, Maryland. On March 22, Min. Selena Terrell of Antioch M.B. Church, Pomona, CA, will minister to the congregation, followed by Min. Sharlita Barrett of Deborah’s Arising, Hesperia, CA, on March 29. Each speaker represents faith, resilience, scholarship, advocacy, and spiritual leadership, reflecting the depth and diversity of women called to serve in this hour.

Women’s HerStory Month at Victory Community Church is more than a celebration; it is a sacred call. Scripture reminds us that women throughout biblical history — Esther, Deborah, Mary, and many others — answered God’s call in pivotal moments. This month serves as a reminder that today’s women are likewise positioned to make an impact. Victory Community Church invites women, families, and the surrounding community to gather in person or online and experience inspired preaching, heartfelt worship, and a spirit-filled atmosphere designed to strengthen faith and renew vision.
Victory Community Church is a Christ-centered ministry committed to loving people, transforming lives, and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through dynamic preaching, intentional discipleship, and meaningful community engagement, the church equips believers to walk boldly in faith and purpose.
