An Exclusive Evening With the Conductor… A Speakeasy-Style Musical Benefit

Riverside, CA — Riverside Philharmonic is pleased to present An Exclusive Evening With the Conductor…, an elegant, speakeasy-inspired fundraising benefit on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM PST. This limited-attendance event offers patrons a rare and refined opportunity to celebrate artistic creativity, musical innovation, and the future of the Philharmonic in an intimate social setting.

Guests will step behind the curtain into a world where jazz and orchestral tradition converge, enjoying champagne service, curated charcuterie, and engaging conversation with Tomasz Golka, Music Director of the Riverside Philharmonic, who will share exclusive insights into the Philharmonic’s vision for the year ahead.

The program features exceptional performances by acclaimed artists Ryan Whyman (piano), Igor Kogan, and James Yoshizawa, presenting a bold, genre-crossing repertoire that includes Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 8 alongside Claude Bolling’s unconventional Suite for Violin and Jazz Piano Trio, a vibrant dialogue between classical form and jazz freedom.

In honor of Black History Month, the evening will also pay tribute to the pioneering musicians whose innovation and artistry shaped jazz and transformed American music during the Jazz Age and beyond.

This is a private fundraising event in support of the Riverside County Philharmonic; no Philharmonic musicians will perform, and all proceeds will directly benefit the orchestra at this pivotal moment in its history. Attendance is limited, and exact venue details will be shared upon ticket confirmation.
