Chicago, IL — Chicago Mass Choir marks their astounding 30-Year Anniversary with their latest praise and worship gem, My Soul Says Yes

As the Covid-19 pandemic and racial tension are spiraling, the gospel message of hope and soul cleansing remains firm throughout the many crisis. For three decades, the Chicago Mass Choir (CMC) has delivered praise and worship – the old-fashioned, enthusiastic praise and worship way. From “God Is My Everything” to “Holy Ghost Power,” CMC under the guidance of producers Percy Gray, Jr. and Jeral Gray, Sr. are keen on recognizing their strengths in the traditional gospel choir tradition of The Mississippi Mass Choir, The Thompson Community Singers and others. The proof is in reaching the Billboard Gospel charts through their 30-year ministry known worldwide.

In celebrating their most recent anniversary, CMC releases their 17th CD, My Soul Says Yes from New Haven Records. The initial single in “My Soul Says Yes/I Say Yes to My Lord” features CMC veteran Felicia Welch. My Soul Says Yes balances the exuberant “Take Me Back,” and “Are You Ready to Worship” with the intimate “Tell God Thank You” and “Right There.” Of course, another familiar CMC favorite co-producer Perry Gray, Jr. goes up front guiding the call and response of “We Serve A Mighty God.” What a Happy 30th Anniversary for Chicago Mass Choir and another opportunity to experience an extremely vital ministry during challenging times.
